My heart breaks for the people of Japan and for what lies ahead of them. In the wake of the largest ever recorded earthquake in over 140 years, these courageous people have already faced the unthinkable, and in no way could have ever been fully prepared for what came so horrifically and so brutally upon them. I have lived in Japan on two separate occasions and have such a love for the people of Japan. They are a hard-working, kind, generous and humble people; this is truly a tragedy. Among the many things that they are in need of right now is the simple power of:
HOPE.
